Super Bowl Prediction

Since my beloved Minnesota Vikings lost in the NFC Championship (thanks Brett Favre), I really don't care who wins this game. But since I am a sports genius, I am going to say that the Saints are going to win the game. Yes, I could analyze the actual game based on the players, offensive schemes, or defensive match-ups, but who really gives a crap about that stuff. So I am going to analyze it the old fashioned way - the mascots. Let's think about this one... A colt is either a young male horse or a pistol good for robbing banks and stealing drugs from mexican gangs. Likewise, a saint is a religious figure. The Saints, blessed with holy powers from above, will use their powers to smite the Colts, making their puny horses and pistols irrelevant. Prediction: Saints 31 Colts 30.

Another great part of the Super Bowl: the halftime show. Well not really. Because ever since nipplegate the halftime shows have been a bunch of boring old guys from before our time playing the guitar just to avoid anymore racy controversies. Do I even know who "The Who" is that will be playing the halftime show? No I have no idea who they are. I think it's about time the NFL got a good halftime act like the Jonas Brothers or Miley Cyrus. We all know they would be able to excite all of the testosterone filled males that watch the Super Bowl, right? Just kidding. But seriously we need a halftime show with a band that at least my generation (90s baby) can recognize without asking his or her parents.

Well that's all for now. Time for food.

Welcome

This blog will give you the inside scoop on all the happenings of midwest life (Iowa baby!) and what not. I will blog about sports and other random musings that happen to be on my mind at the time. Adios for now until I find something to write about.
